Sidney J. Gluck and Alan L. Maki have collaborated in creating this blog in the interest of building peace, friendship, and solidarity with the Chinese people as they struggle to build socialism under very difficult conditions. The intent is to create an honest awareness of problems associated with the building of socialism in China along with explaining the obstacles which exist, and why. All too often problems in China are approached dishonestly--- on the one hand by those who don't want to see socialism succeed; and, on the other hand problems are often ignored by those who support socialism. All problems and questions require an honest and open probing and analysis.
